Located along Rt. 903, just eight miles from historic Jim Thorpe, Bear Creek Lakes is close to the finest skiing and recreational facilities in the Poconos. These include Big Boulder Ski Area and Split Rock. Close at hand is 26,000 acre game land 141, offering the finest grouse, rabbit, ring neck pheasant, squirrel, and deer hunting to be found anywhere. Other nearby points of recreational interest include Hickory Run State Park and the Francis E. Walter Dam on the Lehigh River.

Three miles of shoreline surrounds 160 acres of unspoiled Bear Creek Lake. The lake is fully stocked and perfect for fishing.  Residents enjoy sailing, boating, and swimming at our two private beaches.  There is a heated Olympic-size swimming pool and a wading pool, tennis courts, shuffleboard, bocce court, regulation softball field, basketball courts, volleyball courts, picnic areas and playgrounds.  The community has a clubhouse and a large pavilion which are available for private parties.

Spring and fall paint a gorgeous picture right in your own backyard! In spring a fresh new season of budding foliage, sweet scented wild flowers, and returning songbirds are yours for the looking. Mountain laurel covers the forests with a cloud of delicate pink blossoms. The lake and roads are bordered with shadblow juneberry, to be followed in July by the beautiful rhododendron. Summer promises warm days and comfortable nights . . . fresh air with no smog, dust or motor exhaust. Autumn at Bear Creek Lakes brings clear, crisp days and brisk nights . . . the hills and forests become breathtaking blankets of flaming colors unequalled anywhere. Winter means added enjoyment in Bear Creek Lakes.
