Notice: Anticipated Pool Opening Friday, June 5, 2020
More Info on Pool and Beach Use Procedures added on June 1, 2020:
A couple of “oops” typos or and oversights to address:
Pool facility capacity
Maximum of 50 bathers in water;
Maximum of 90 sun worshipers on grass area within compound adjacent to tennis courts (assuming all are non-family related, each requiring a 12’ diameter circle of “protected” space;
Confusing statement dealing with masking: The use of the word “beach” in our posted guidelines was possibly ill-chosen: WE MEAN PLEASE WEAR A MASK – EXCEPT IN THE WATER.
Extra tag sales:
Temporarily on hold while we sort out any surprises and adjust to a potential increase in the need for that feature; and potential increase in all our recreational facilities. This is in line with similar positions taken by numerous Home Owner Associations throughout the country: in efforts to focus on safety and service for our owners foremost.
Notice: Anticipated Pool Opening by Friday, June 5, 2020.
It’s obviously an unusual year. We hope to have the pool open for use as noted above. Please wait for an official notice of what will be a historic event for BCLCA. In the meantime, please review the following postings that describe the process you will find in place when you come for that first swim.
We will be heating the pool, placing final signage, “traffic controls” and a revised entry and check-in plan (based on the information shown below) in the next few days. We will be conducting a “dry run” of an opening day, looking for oversights and making sure the entire crew knows what we need to do and is comfortable.
Our goal is to be as close to “normal” as possible while being as safe as possible. Stay tuned!
